Carle Place Middle and High School students accept Rachel’s Challenge

Carle Place Middle/High School participated in Rachel’s Challenge in conjunction with Unity Day on Oct. 21. During a morning assembly, students in grades seven through 12 explored the effects of negativity and learned how acts of kindness, respect and compassion can help create a more positive and supportive school community. Its K-12 programs promote academic and social-emotional learning by strengthening connections among students, faculty and staff. The initiative works alongside existing school programs to foster inclusion and help prevent harassment, isolation and violence.
